NATURE
NP KRKA
At about 50 km. near Sibenik the Krka National Park is located. You drive to the interesting village SKRADIN, park your car and go by boat to the downside of the waterfall. In about 90 minutes you walk a circle around the great waterfall and into a natural environment that will amaze everyone. A perfect day trip because you can drive back along the magnificent coast and possibly visit beautiful villages such as Vodice, Brodarica, Primosten and Vinisce.

NP PAKLENICA
By car you can reach the fantastic National Park Paklenica for a hiking tour under expert guidance. You can choose from tours with varying degrees of difficulty but always enjoy the most rugged terrain in an area where still lynxes, bears and wolves are living in the wild (though you have to be very lucky to get to see them). For the fans of a hiking daytrip a real winner.
NP KORNATI
From the island of Murter, you can take the boat to visit the fantastic natural environment of the Kornati islands. You have to get up early because the boat leaves at 9:00 am and the drive from our house to Murter takes about an hour. Also, it is not really cheap per person, but included is a long boat ride, lunch, opportunity to swim in a crystal clear sea under expert guidance. And please note: a day in an amusement park in your own country is much more expensive!
NP Paklenica
NP PLITVICE
The best known National Nature Park of Croatia is from Seget Vranjica reachable by car in about 2.30 hours. It takes a long drive there and back again but it most certainly is worthwile. At the NP Plitvice you can choose from shorter or longer hiking tours, taking about between 3 and 6 hours. Almost all tours include a boat ride and a ride with a little train.
Most certainly a very long daytrip but one you will never forget!
